    Does CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Gondia offer student loans?

    CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Gondia does not offer student loans.


    Students may contact their personal banking institute to discuss financing options. Most national banks in India are familiar with the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) training program and offer students educational loans at a reasonable interest rate with flexible repayment plans. Students should approach these banks directly to enquire about financing.


    How many hours will I spend training on an actual aircraft?

    Students will fly approximately 200 hours in an actual aircraft (as per DGCA)

    Is there a payment plan?

    What aircraft will I be training on?

    Students will fly DA40 CS single-engine aircraft and DA42 multi-engine aircraft. Both aircrafts are equipped with "glass" cockpits and the latest electronics.

    What are the advantages of training at CAE Oxford Academy compared to other training academies?

    A shorter training program: students can complete their CPL training in less time compared to other institutions. CPL programs at other institutions in India can take 20-30 months to complete. 

    A hands-on training approach: Students will complete approximately 200 flying hours, every hour of which will be completed in state-of-the-art flight simulators and flying in modern DA40 CS or DA42 aircraft.

    A skill-based methodology: enables students to retain a higher level of knowledge and subject matter.

    What are the advantages of training at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Gondia compared to training abroad?

    You can stay close to home while training with an international company which delivers the highest quality in pilot training.

    This helps to save money on travelling and living expenses and saves time on getting your foreign license converted to meet Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) requirements when you return to India.

    Note: exams are given only 4 times each year.

    What is included in the cost of the program?

    The cost of the program includes all instructor-led training including all flights and simulator sessions, course materials and textbooks, uniforms, and transportation to and from the apartment complex/campus and Birsi airport.


    Students should budget for the additional expenditure items including Food, accommodation and DGCA exam fees. 

    What is the cost of the program?

    INR 3,640,000/- + Service Tax

    The fee for the CAE Aircrew Selection System (CASS) test is INR 5,700/- (Inclusive of Service Tax).

    What is the minimum age requirement for entry into the program?

    You must be 17 years of age to begin training.

    What is the minimum level of education required for entry into the program?

    Candidates must have cleared 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognised board or university with Physics, Maths and English as mandatory subjects of 10+2 level.

    What job possibilities are available to me upon graduation?

    Upon completion of the program, students qualify for a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) making them eligible to work as a pilot for pay. 

    At that point graduates will start to apply directly to airlines supported by CAE Oxford Aviation Academy's graduate services team, whose primary role is to identify job opportunities for our graduates. The graduate services team leverages CAE's global airline network to support our graduates right through until they find their first flying role. 

    What is the accommodation like on campus?

    CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Gondia / NFTI is a secure, gated campus with ultra-modern facilities and accommodation featuring:
