The 2017 expected academic and flying costs for Phase One are currently $130,113 AUD. Additional costs of approximately $15,163 AUD for books, equipment, uniforms, CASA exam fees, aviation medical, ASIC, and the additional 30 hours Pilot in Command over and above the standard flying syllabus as required by Jetstar are also to be anticipated. Eligible students can elect to access FEE-HELP for the Associate Degree of Aviation.
This will allow you to offset your flying training fees through the government loans system. A maximum lifetime FEE-HELP limit applies, indexed annually; In 2016 the FEE-HELP limit is $99,389 AUD.
