    • British Airways has structured their Future Pilot Programme with their new recruitment partner, Airline Placement Limited (APL) who will sponsor your training.
    • Obviously this programme represents a significant investment by APL and you will therefore be required to deposit a security bond of £84,000 with them. Because this is a sponsored scheme, this entire £84,000 security bond will be repaid to you if you successfully complete all training, and go on to join British Airways as a First Officer.
    • The security bond is repaid subject to the conditions already outlined in equal monthly installments over your first 7 years of employment with BA, all in addition to the remuneration package detailed on the BA Future Pilot Programme website.
    • In addition to the security bond that you will deposit with APL, there is a one-off additional fee of £7,000 payable to CAE Oxford Aviation Academy, and which covers a range of costs outlined below.
      • ALL initial UK CAA regulatory charges:
        • ATPL Theoretical Examinations
        • Flight Skills Tests (CPL, MEP and IR)
        • CPL Licence Issue with:
          • MEP Class Rating
          • MEP Instrument Rating
      • Return Flight to Phoenix
      • US Visa fees, FAA and Medical Costs
      • Upset Recovery Training in Phoenix
      • Ground Transportation in Phoenix
    • You should also set aside funds for:
      • Your meals during training
      • Personal living and social expenses
      • UK CAA Initial Class 1 Medical and Renewal
  • SkillsPlus Guarantee from CAE Oxford Aviation Academy

Skills-plus-guarantee-180x57Our unique SkillsPlus Guarantee has been developed to give complete peace of mind during your training with us.

The guarantee underlines our genuine and ethical commitment to the quality of both our training and our graduates; it covers:

    • The return of up to £60,000 of your security bond in the most unlikely event that training (up to licence issue) ceases due to lack of aptitude (despite a cadet's best endeavours).
    • An all-inclusive training solution whereby CAE Oxford Aviation Academy commits to cover the costs incurred for all additional training and/or UK CAA ground exam or flight test retakes incurred throughout the programme up to the point of licence issue.
